Chasing Omaha Top-25 – 4/30/2012

With one month to go in the regular season, things are getting very tight at the top of the Chasing Omaha poll.

Florida State and Baylor are now only separated by one point as both teams continue to dominate the weekend competition.

On the other hand, Florida and Kentucky, after rough weekends, make way for LSU and South Carolina, who have been much more consistent as of late. The SEC does occupy the 3-6 spots in the poll, though, showing the overall strength of the conference again this year.

Arkansas, with its big win over No. 4 Florida, jumped 12 spots to No. 11 this week. Texas A&M moved up six spots back into the Top 10 with its series win over Texas this weekend.

Louisville and Arizona State re-join the poll this week as New Mexico State and Texas both drop out.
